The emitter and receiver are aligned in a housing such that the retroreflective sensors are easy to install. Simply position a reflector on the opposite side and
align the sensor with it. The standard version featuring a polarization filter combines the installation benefits offered by the retroreflective system with the
reliable detection, even of reflective objects, at long detection ranges. The retroreflective sensors for clear object detection are ideal for reliably detecting
transparent objects.
OVERVIEW
Multiple-beam safety light barriers create a two-dimensional protection field which allows a varying detection capability and different protection field
heights depending on the application requirement. Operating personnel benefit from greater flexibility for a variety of use cases, while the highest safety
requirements—up to PL e, Cat. 4, and SIL 3 are reliably met. Additionally, redundant multiple tests in ongoing operation ensure increased plant availability.
The sophisticated, narrow housing design along with a range of accessories also permits convenient installation.

Pepperl Fuchs offers several series of remote I/O products to meet the needs of different customers:
FB Series:
Suitable for high-risk areas such as Zone 1, the field signal is transmitted to the control system in a non-hazardous area via an Ex i or Ex e field connection.
A variety of I/O modules and interface options are available, supporting analog and digital signal types.
LB Series:
It is suitable for fieldbus systems such as Foundation Fieldbus, and supports the acquisition and transmission of analog and digital signals.
The system is easy to configure and supports a variety of signal types, including 4-20mA, thermocouples, RTDs, and more.
