OVERVIEW TRICONEX TRICON 4200-3 Remote Extender Module The TRICON module adopts a triple redundancy structure, including CPU, bus and some input/output cards to ensure the reliability and stability of the system. Three identical sub-circuits are able to execute the control program independently of each other, allowing the system to continue to operate even if a single circuit fails. MAIN FEATURES Fault Tolerance: The TRICON system is highly fault-tolerant and can identify transient and steady-state faults online and make appropriate corrections. Through a combination of redundancy and fault shielding (bypass), the system is able to be repaired without interrupting process control. High Integration And High Availability: The TRICON modules are highly integrated and support up to 118 I/O modules (analog and digital) and optional communication modules. The system provides comprehensive on-line diagnostics and repair capabilities, allowing routine maintenance to be carried out without interrupting the control process.
